Primary Teaher

We are working on behalf of a new and vibrant primary school in Mansfield, part of a well-established and supportive multi-academy trust. The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic primary teacher to join their team as a Year 2 primary teacher on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate primary teacher who is looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

The Role:

The successful candidate will work as a Year 2 primary teacher from Wednesday to Friday. Full planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities are required. The role will run until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality teaching as a Key Stage 1 primary teacher

* Plan engaging and creative lessons

* Assess and track pupil progress

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

* Work collaboratively with school staff and parents

Candidate Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

* Experience working as a primary teacher, ideally in Key Stage 1

* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

* Ability to plan effectively and independently

* Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
