About the Role

As a Primary NQT working on supply in Worksop, you will teach across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 within a variety of supportive primary school settings. This role is ideal for newly qualified teachers who want to gain broad primary experience, strengthen classroom and behaviour management skills, and grow in confidence without the immediate pressure of a permanent role.

You will be supported both in school and by your dedicated Academics consultant throughout all placements.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners
Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress
Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Newly qualified or currently completing ECT induction
✔ Enthusiastic, motivated, and keen to develop within primary education
✔ Strong communication and classroom management skills
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
