Customer Services Team Leader
Worksop – starting salary is £28,500.
Shifts:
4 on 4 off, 9:30 am – 8:00 pm.
The customer services team leader within customs supports customers to ensure their trade between the UK and EU is smooth and trouble‑free team ensures customer declarations are completed on time and in full to allow goods to move and supports customers throughout the entire process. Your role is about ensuring the team is organised and leads effectively to complete the daily tasks, exceed customer expectations and closely monitor overall team performance.
Dutiesof the customer services team leader include:
- Accurate data entry and efficient response to customs queries via specified platforms (email, portals, IT platforms, etc.).
- Maintain and ensure compliance with current legislation and customs procedures.
- Ensure sufficient staffing for each shift, promptly raising any potential issues and resolutions with the Management Team to provide coaching to the team to ensure they are high performers in every aspect.
- Offer excellent quality, positive and motivational feedback and support.
- Ensure everything your team does is focused on quality.
- Understand customs procedures and manage the entire end‑to‑end sequencing – full training will be given to the right person.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly with the MS Office Suite, and confidence with bespoke CRM systems.
- Experience of leading a team within a customer services environment.
This is a shift team leader position, working 4‑on 4‑off, 9:30 am to 8:00 pm.
