Humly is recruiting a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school on a long-term basis.
This is a full-time role starting after half term and continuing for half a term, with potential to extend. This role would suit a patient and committed educator experienced in supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 basis within an early years setting.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Support the pupil’s engagement, regulation, and access to learning through structured routines
* Assist with settling the pupil and developing social and emotional skills
* Work closely with early years staff and the SEN team to provide consistent support
* Implement individualised strategies to help the pupil participate in class activities
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to the SEN team and teaching staff
What You’ll Bring
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN in early years or primary settings
* Ability to build positive relationships and maintain a nurturing environment
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Patience, resilience, and commitment to supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis
Pay
* £14.85 per hour
