This is an exciting time to join Adult Social Care in Worcestershire. Our priority, working with partners, is to ensure that Worcestershire residents are healthier, live longer, have a better quality of life and remain independent for as long as possible and we are reshaping our services to deliver these outcomes.
We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead, develop and manage Area Social Work services who support adults, including but not exclusively, older people, physical disabilities and adults who may have a vulnerability that requires some care and support. Safeguarding is key and strength‑based social work, using Three Conversation principles, is central to the delivery of social care in Worcestershire.
The successful candidate will be passionate about person centred care, supporting people to achieve great outcomes, delivering the highest quality of support to residents of Worcestershire. You will do this in partnership with people, carers, other organisations and be committed to developing thriving communities.
The ability to build and maintain effective partnerships at a senior operational and strategic levels will be a key part of the role. You will drive forward improvement plans and celebrate success, leading areas within the CQC assessment process and customer journey and developments areas such as neighbourhood health and embedding prevention.
If you have a Social Work qualification and registration and a passion for service improvement, true partnership work and a sound knowledge of adult social care, this could be the challenge for you.
