Platform Property Care are looking for an experienced Work Planner in housing maintenance and repairs — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and ensures every job runs smoothly. This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8:00 – 16:30, so no weekend working.

Be part of a team planning a multi-skill trades workforce to deliver planned and reactive maintenance work for our customers, based in Worcestershire, Herefordshire & Gloucestershire.

Our team of Work Planners are central to delivering great customer service and “right first time” repairs and installations.

• Plan an operational multi-skill trades workforce, maintain contact with field teams, and liaise with customers.
• Be highly organized, approachable, and a confident communicator.
• Manage multiple priorities, stay calm under pressure, think on your feet, and work on your own initiative.
• Organize engineers and schedule property maintenance and repairs with the support of a team.

• Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook and Word.
• Experience of working in a building maintenance or construction administration team as a work planner or scheduler; planning a trades workforce is essential.
• Workforce planning software experience, including previously using DRS.
• Some technical trades knowledge would be advantageous.

The role covers planning of our Engineer workforce in the Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire area, so you would need to be based in this region.

Whist this role is home based, there is an expectation to travel to our Group Offices in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull or Central Park, Worcester on an ad-hoc basis as required. There is a Team meeting every other month and other infrequent travel. Travel will be reimbursed per policy; car parking at offices is free.
