Flowtech Fluid power is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer / External Sales Manager to develop and grow an established territory across Cardiff and South Wales
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with experience in industrial product sales
, ideally within hydraulics, pneumatics or fluid power
, to join the UK’s largest distributor in the sector.

You will be responsible for managing relationships with industrial distributors, engineering companies and manufacturing customers across South Wales
, identifying new opportunities and delivering technical sales solutions across the region.

This is a field-based position where you will take ownership of a key territory across Cardiff and the wider South Wales region
, developing long-term relationships with customers across industrial and engineering markets.

Working with Flowtech’s extensive product portfolio and supported by internal technical and customer service teams
, you will help customers identify the right hydraulic, pneumatic and fluid power solutions for their applications.

• Develop sales across Cardiff and the wider South Wales region
• Manage and grow relationships with industrial distributors and engineering customers
• Identify new opportunities within manufacturing, OEM and engineering sectors
• Promote Flowtech’s range of hydraulic, pneumatic and fluid power products
• Deliver structured territory planning and proactive sales activity
• Work closely with internal sales, suppliers and technical support teams
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales and growth targets

• Experience in external sales, sales engineering or technical sales
• Background in industrial or engineering product sales
• Experience working with distribution networks
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or fluid power systems would be highly advantageous
• Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with excellent territory management abilities
• Full UK driving licence
