Overview

The Campus Services Team is part of Security & Operations, within the Estates & Facilities Department. The team provides a full range of customer-focused services meeting the growing needs of the University, including office moves, lecture room set-up, conferencing elements such as room set-ups and break-downs, parcel deliveries and collections, and sporting event set-up at the University Arena.

Your place of work will be the University of Worcester. You will be required to work at premises which the University currently has or may subsequently acquire, or any premises at which it may from time to time provide services. A full UK driving licence is a requirement of this role.

Hours:

37 hours per week, based on 07:00 – 15:00 and 12:00 – 20:00 on a weekly rotational basis. A degree of flexibility is expected when working during high-profile University events, such as Open Days, Graduation, and Registration Weekend. The role will involve regular walking, climbing stairs, and the lifting and moving of equipment.

Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Flexibility to work during high-profile University events (e.g., Open Days, Graduation, Registration Weekend).
  • Willingness to work across different premises as the University may acquire or provide services at various locations.
  • Regular walking, climbing stairs, and lifting/moving of equipment as part of the role.

Additional employment details: If not already an employee of the University of Worcester, the appointed candidate will be employed through our subsidiary company Uniworc Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Worcester. Appointees of Uniworc Limited will automatically be enrolled into the Aviva FlexHE defined contribution pension scheme (subject to earnings and other eligibility criteria).
