Salary: £28k - £32k

Based in Worcestershire, this well-established company manufactures metal components and assemblies.

As Production Planner, you will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with customers, sales, production, dispatch and quality to ensure excellent communication. You will manage a list of customers, build strong business relationships, and be the primary point of contact for all communications.

Key responsibilities include coordinating daily deliveries, attending production meetings, managing visual monitors, controls and measurements, maintaining regular communication with the Operations Manager, and developing links with customers. You will use the company MRP system, be highly proficient in Excel, and manage delivery dates and customer requirements.

The successful candidate will understand the importance of communication and have experience in a similar role. You should be positive, have a can-do attitude, and be willing to spend time on the factory floor liaising with supervisors to achieve customer satisfaction. You will be eager to learn about the company's products and build strong communication links with supervisors and team leaders.

Capacity planning with each department is required.

This role is demanding; you must be extremely well organised, maintain a systematic approach to problems and deadlines, and balance internal and external priorities.
