Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

• Programming, setting and operating Mazak 4 and 5 Axis Machining Centres
• Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
• Understand Mazatrol CNC controls and be able to program/edit/improve existing and new parts.
• Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health and safety guidelines and rules.
• Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H and S improvements and kaizen initiatives.

• Have a solid understanding of setting and operating CNC controlled Machining Centres.
• Can demonstrate and have experience of safely using CNC controls.
• Have a can:do attitude.
• Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.

• Program from drawing Mazatrol CNC controls.
• Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship/HNC or similar.

Week 1:
Mon to Fri 5.30am – 1.30pm

Week 2:
Mon to Thu 2pm – 10.30pm;
Fri 2pm – 8pm

The CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator role will be on double day shift rotation.
