4 and 5 Axis Machining Centre Setter/Operator :
Nights and Weekend Nights

Pay Range: A GBP 16.45 – A GBP 19.71 + Benefits

Band 4:6 (equivalent to A GBP 32,077 to A GBP 40,600) fully depending on experience

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.

• Setting and operating 4 and 5 axis machining centres.
• Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
• Understanding Mazak CNC controls and offering improvement ideas.
• Working within a team of fellow engineers to strict health and safety guidelines and rules.
• Playing your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H and S improvements and kaizen initiatives.

• An understanding of milling/machining centre machines.
• Experience and able to safely set and operate automated CNC loaded machine tools.
• Experience with cutting tools, fixtures and measuring equipment.
• A can-do attitude.
• Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.

• Can edit and alter programs.
• Having served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.

Sunday to Thursday 10:00 pm to 6:00 am :
Nights

Friday to Sunday 6:00 pm to 6:30 am (paid lunch):
Weekend Nights

Overtime is paid at time 1/3 for first 2 hours then time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
