Production Tool Pre-Setter (Machining) – Worcester based. A £13.68 – A £14.82 per hour. Band 5 (A £26,681‑A £28,898 pa equivalent).
CompanyOur client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a Production Tool Pre-Setter within the Machining Department.
Job Description- Pre-setting tools for FH Line, Vari-Axis & Versatech Machines.
- Controlling stock levels, regrinds & reclamation of over 5,000 tools.
- Working closely with tooling suppliers.
- Liaising with machine operators, process engineers & supervisors to ensure smooth running of 14 CNC machining centres.
- Responsible for the 5S of two pre-setting rooms.
Essential Criteria
- History working in an industrial setting.
- Understand basic mechanical principles.
- Computer literate.
- Hard‑working & conscientious.
- Some machining experience.
- Experience changing cutting tools.
- Overhead crane experience.
- Role on Standard Mazak contract on day shift.

Monday to Friday 8.15am – 4.30pm.
