• Plan, organise and supervise drainage works across multiple sites, ensuring contracts are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
• Carry out site surveys and coordinate labour, equipment and materials effectively.
• Lead, support and communicate with Job Leaders and site teams to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Monitor job performance through site visits, reports and client feedback, addressing issues promptly.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety requirements, including risk assessments, method statements and toolbox talks.
• Oversee employee inductions, training needs and performance during probation periods.
• Ensure accurate completion of paperwork, timesheets and client sign‑off documentation.

• Proven experience in an operational supervisory role within drainage, utilities, civil engineering or a similar field.
• Strong planning, organisational and leadership skills.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice (IOSH level knowledge desirable).
• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and teams.
• Able to manage multiple sites, priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Competent with paperwork, reporting and electronic scheduling systems.
