The hours are 6:30am-3pm or 7:00am-3pm and every other weekend or option to work every weekend and one day shift during the week.
Responsibilities- Provides direction, coordination and monitoring of transport staff.
- Addresses attendance, punctuality and performance concerns.
- Assists the Transport Manager in performance management as necessary.
- Monitors staffing patterns/schedules and provides feedback to the manager regarding opportunities for service improvement.
- Monitors staffing needs on a daily basis, manages unscheduled absences, determines if staff can be flexed down based on volume/criteria.
- Participates in preparation and interpretation of management reports to monitor employee performance, job request demand/supply key indicators, delay analysis, etc.
- Develops and maintains effective liaisons with all departments served.
- Continually assesses opportunity for improvement in patient safety, patient satisfaction, and customer satisfaction.
- Transports patients to and from all areas of the hospital via stretcher/wheelchair.
- Transports other items and equipment according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required - Licensure/Certification: AHA BLS CPR/AED

- Supervisory experience preferred
- Transport experience preferred
- Experience with bed tracking and/or transport tracking software is preferred
