The hours are 6:30am-3pm or 7:00am-3pm and every other weekend or option to work every weekend and one day shift during the week.

• Provides direction, coordination and monitoring of transport staff.
• Addresses attendance, punctuality and performance concerns.
• Assists the Transport Manager in performance management as necessary.
• Monitors staffing patterns/schedules and provides feedback to the manager regarding opportunities for service improvement.
• Monitors staffing needs on a daily basis, manages unscheduled absences, determines if staff can be flexed down based on volume/criteria.
• Participates in preparation and interpretation of management reports to monitor employee performance, job request demand/supply key indicators, delay analysis, etc.
• Develops and maintains effective liaisons with all departments served.
• Continually assesses opportunity for improvement in patient safety, patient satisfaction, and customer satisfaction.
• Transports patients to and from all areas of the hospital via stretcher/wheelchair.
• Transports other items and equipment according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Required:
  • Education:
    
    High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Licensure/Certification: AHA BLS CPR/AED
• Preferred:
  • Experience:
    • Supervisory experience preferred
    • Transport experience preferred
    • Experience with bed tracking and/or transport tracking software is preferred
