Who We Are

We started out as a small operation in California. In May 1969 we acquired four hospitals, additional care facilities and real estate for future development of hospitals. Over the years, we have grown in size, scope and capability, building homes in new markets and curating those homes to provide a compassionate environment for those entrusting us with their care.

Today, we are a leading health‑system and services platform that continues to evolve in lockstep with community need. Tenet’s operations include three businesses: our hospitals and physicians, USPI and Conifer Health Solutions. Our impact spreads far and deep with 65 hospitals and approximately 510 outpatient centers and additional sites of care. Candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre‑employment health screening which includes a drug screen.

Responsible for the setup of telemetry on physician orders by ensuring proper placement of electrodes, running strips, and replacing batteries as needed.

• Selects, sets up, calibrates and adjusts monitoring equipment in accordance with physician orders.
• Ensures continued proper functioning of equipment; troubleshoots equipment problems as identified.
• Collects, transmits, and documents pertinent patient data to the RN with correct interpretations and interval measurements on each patient at required intervals every shift and with any significant rhythm change.
• Maintains current monitored patients in the system; confers with nursing staff to determine correct validation counts and alarm parameters for patients.
• Reports alarms and changes of rhythm to RN staff.
• Greets, screens and processes incoming unit/dept calls, patients, visitors, and messages.
• Transcribes physician orders, enters tests, and treatment requests into system.
• Assembles and maintains patient medical records including posting of results.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Successful completion of EKG class.
• Familiar with medical terminology.
