Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our NHS clients in Worcestershire for an experienced Specialist Community Public Health Nurse – Health Visitor to join the 0–19 Public Health Nursing Service.

This is a full-time, temporary position offering an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established public health team supporting children, young people, and families across the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver the Healthy Child Programme and High Impact Area work within a defined caseload to meet the diverse health needs of the local population.
Manage a defined caseload of children, young people, and families within a specific geographical area or corporate team.
Identify health needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care aligned with the wider public health agenda.
Provide Universal, Targeted, and Specialist services in line with the Healthy Child Programme, including intensive home visiting (e.g. MECSH).
Act as a role model for colleagues, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism at all times.
Behave consistently with the organisation’s values and promote these in day-to-day practice.
Take responsibility for the quality of your work and the service delivered to service users.
Under the direction of the Team Leader, develop a specialist area of practice aligned with the Worcestershire Children and Young People’s Plan.
Retain overall responsibility for a defined caseload, ensuring high-quality care delivery even when tasks are delegated to junior team members.
