Due to promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our team. We are seeking someone who has clinical and leadership experience working in CAMHS as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to support leading a small team of qualified and trainee Psychotherapists and provide clinical leadership to our Under Fives pathway.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals capable of leading a team whilst managing their own caseload and striving to support the work of the wider psychotherapy, Under Fives and multi-disciplinary CAMHS Teams. It is a requirement that applicants are registered as full members of the Association of Child Psychotherapists, with ACP accredited training, and can work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures.

This is a part time role working 22.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the jobWith support from the Principal Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist you will actively deliver specialist child and adolescent psychotherapeutic assessment and interventions to patients with complex mental health conditions. State of mind assessments and parent work will also be needed. You will have responsibility for leading our CAMHS Under Fives Service to include screening referrals and offering clinic consultations, assessments and interventions.
You will provide mentoring and supervision to support other CAMHS colleagues working within the Under Fives Service and training to wider service teams and colleagues.
You will be part of the integrated CAMHS MDT team, offering advice, guidance, supervision and consultations to colleagues to support their work. There will be opportunity to contribute to case discussions and team formulations and facilitating reflective and complex case discussion groups. There may be further opportunities to develop your own specialist interests.

The role includes offering support and clinical supervision to qualified and trainee Child & Adolescent Psychotherapists and supporting the continuing improvement of the Psychotherapy and Under Fives services through outcome monitoring, audit and evaluation.
