Adults Support Workers (Promoting Independence Assistants)
Location: Worcester, United Kingdom (travel across Worcestershire county).
Salary: £13.26 – £13.47 per hour (plus 8% Sunday enhancement) + £250 welcome bonus (subject to tax & NI).
Contract: Part‑time and full‑time roles available (to be discussed at interview).
Working Hours: Various shift patterns from 7am to 10pm, including day, evening and weekend shifts.

Various contracts available, to be discussed service runs from 7am to 10pm, with various shift patterns within this time.
The RoleAs a Support Worker (Promoting Independence Assistant) in reablement, you’ll be playing a key role in helping customers regain and promote their independence and continue living in their own home, following hospital discharge or crisis intervention. You will assist clients to relearn skills in daily living, such as personal care (washing, hygiene, dressing), mobility support and meal preparation.
You will support in a way that encourages self‑directed activity; hands‑on assistance will be provided initially, but the goal is to enable and encourage the service user to perform as much as possible themselves.

Strong communication and excellent organisational skills are required. It is also important to have an understanding of maintaining health, safety and wellbeing of service users in their own homes.
Travel required: You will need to travel around Worcestershire; a full driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
This position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be conditional upon a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
