Position Overview
Counter Fraud Officer (35 hours per week, permanent contract) located at Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester, WR5 2QT
with hybrid working options. This newly created role will implement the Council’s counter‑fraud plan, strengthen risk mitigation and develop counter‑fraud initiatives across the organization.
You will identify opportunities to enhance counter‑fraud measures, work with stakeholders to design and implement pragmatic solutions, explore innovative approaches, and participate in projects ensuring early‑stage fraud controls. Reporting to the Audit and Compliance Manager, you will take responsibility for strategic development, training to promote an anti‑fraud culture, investigation, prevention and deterrence, and use detection methods.
Salary£37,036 - £39,513 per annum.
