Credit Controller

Overview

Credit Controller – Worcester (WR2). Temporary role for 8 to 12 weeks. £14.00–£16.00 per hour (depending on experience).

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to support a busy accounts function on a temporary basis in Worcester (WR2). This role is ideal for someone confident in managing outstanding balances, working to targets, and handling customer queries professionally.

• Chasing overdue payments via phone, email, and written correspondence
• Managing customer accounts and monitoring debtor balances
• Allocating and posting payments accurately
• Producing and updating debtor and aged balance reports
• Liaising with third parties where required
• Handling queries and resolving payment issues in a timely manner

• Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role
• Confidence dealing with customers and discussing overdue payments
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good IT skills, including Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Sage)

• Competitive hourly rate (£14–£16/hour)
• Immediate start available
• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
• Short-term assignment with a well-structured finance team
