Internal Auditor

Location: Worcestershire

An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, international, listed group with global revenues of over £1 billion.

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support the ongoing development and implementation of our Group-wide risk and compliance strategy. This is a unique chance to work within a large, entrepreneurial organisation, engaging in cross-group process reviews and key control assessments across multiple business units worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute internal audit reviews across the Group.
Assess key controls within individual business units and conduct company-wide process reviews in high-risk areas.
Identify and agree findings with auditees, prepare and finalise audit reports, and follow up on implementation of agreed actions.
Engage with teams across all businesses to implement policies and controls.
Coordinate group-wide projects focusing on high-risk areas, liaising with external advisors where necessary.
Manage ad-hoc significant risk events, including litigation, claims, regulatory reviews, and related matters.
Support investigations into whistleblowing reports, including allegations of fraud.

About You

Experienced in testing controls and internal audit processes.
Able to work independently and take ownership of key projects.
Driven, pragmatic, and focused on risk management.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all organisational levels.
Strong written skills, consistently producing high-quality outputs.
Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Analytical, inquisitive, and eager to contribute to evolving practices and reporting styles.
