This is a full‑time role for a Senior Civil Engineer based in Birmingham or Worcester, with opportunities to work partially from home. The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and managing civil infrastructure projects, planning and coordinating project workflows, and overseeing foul and stormwater management systems in buildings, infrastructure and regeneration developments. The role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver sustainable and efficient engineering solutions.

You will also contribute to developing effective strategies and ensure compliance with established standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Experience with Planning permissions, discharge of conditions and liaison with LLFAs and Water Authorities
• Knowledge and proficiency in hydraulic design principles and software modelling
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in Civil Engineering projects
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional engineering certification is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills including mentoring junior staff
• Understanding of sustainability practices in civil and environmental engineering
• Experience of working with building contractors during Construction Phase
• Production of 3D deaign information to aid clash detection
