The Role As a mid-level individual, you will ensure the governance of designs, accuracy, feasibility, and structural integrity Equipment selection Check and submit client submittals and manufacturing drawings, ensuring BOM accuracy Prepare accurate specifications and reports Designing solutions for mission-critical infrastructure data centre applications Manage the change control process, ensuring accurate changes are implemented This is a customer-facing role involving high-value, engineered-to-order solutions
Hours:
38-40 hours, early finish on Fridays You An experienced Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with around 10 years of experience Customer-facing experience from a design perspective at a senior level Likely to have worked in an M&E D&B Contractor or Building Services Consultancy, process industry, Oil & Gas background involving pipework, pressure vessels, pumps Knowledge of mechanical commercial building services and HVAC a distinct advantage Ideally able to use Solidworks, AutoCAD MEP This is a contract role.
