The Role

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end project delivery — from design through to commissioning and client handover. You’ll work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and network operators to ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Day-to-day, you’ll:

Manage multiple HV/LV connection projects nationwide

Lead planning, design coordination, procurement, and construction phases

Interface with DNOs/IDNOs to ensure full compliance with standards

Oversee budgets, schedules, risk, and change control

Coordinate subcontractors, civil teams, and electrical engineers

Maintain clear client communication and deliver regular progress reports

Drive high standards of health & safety and quality assurance

What You’ll Bring

Proven track record managing ICP or electrical infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of HV/LV systems, substations, and cable networks

Solid grasp of project controls (budgeting, risk, and scheduling)

Confident communicator with clients, engineers, and stakeholders

Commercial awareness and contract management experience

Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites

Nice to have:

PRINCE2, APM, or PMP qualification

Experience in EV infrastructure or new connections

Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)

Background in civil or utility works

The Package

£55,000 – £65,000 base (depending on experience)
