Are you a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a full‑time role from February?
A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Worcester is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to work full time within their preschool, from February until July.
This Early Years Assistant role involves supporting young children in a preschool setting, where some SEN needs are present. The school is looking for individuals with previous SEN experience and confidence supporting personal care, who can provide a safe, and structured environment to help children thrive.
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. The school has a warm, welcoming ethos and a strong focus on supporting children at the very start of their educational journey.
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:- Supporting children within the preschool setting on a full‑time basis.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN needs.
- Assisting with personal care routines where required.
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs.
- Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and EYFS staff to deliver age‑appropriate activities.
- Previous experience working within Early Years or a preschool setting.
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- Confidence and experience with personal care.
- A patient, caring, and nurturing approach.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and flexible attitude.
- Competitive daily rate, from £88.92 to £100 per day.
- Holiday Pay – PAYE candidates accrue 12.07% of their day rate.
