A vibrant and supportive primary school in Worcester is looking to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. This role would suit a proactive, confident individual who enjoys being hands‑on in the classroom and is passionate about working closely with children. Previous school‑based experience is highly desirable but not essential. What matters most is your experience supporting children with special educational needs and your willingness to get involved from day one.
The Role- Providing direct support to pupils with SEN across the school day
- Taking a hands‑on approach to supporting learning, behaviour, and engagement
- Supporting children during lessons, activities, and transitions
- Working closely with teaching staff to adapt support as needed
- Helping create a positive, inclusive, and structured environment
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs (essential)
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Confidence, initiative, and a proactive mindset
- A flexible and supportive approach
- A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
