Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in delivering the Trusts transformation and improvement agenda in alignment with organisational strategic priorities. The post holder will ensure that the Trust is in a position to take advantage of business change and development opportunities both from within and outside the organisation. You will lead the development and quality assurance of a diverse range of complex business cases using the HM Treasury Five Case Model and best practice approaches, and develop a coordinated and consistent approach to business cases.

A key focus will be maximising benefits from a range of sources so that transformational changes are sustainable and good investment decisions are made.

Main duties of the job
  • Providing expertise and lead on the development, quality assurance and submission of HM Treasury Five Case Model business cases, ensuring alignment with the Trusts strategic priorities and sound investment decisions.
  • Ensuring there is a pipeline of pre-prepared capital business cases in HM Treasury Five Case Model format for external submission, aligned to organisational strategy and priorities to maximise funding opportunities.
  • Being the Trusts expert and sole point of contact on all aspects of business case development, providing cross-organisational advice, support and training.
  • Leading the trusts internal business case process.
