We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established global organisation for a Temporary Business Support Receptionist based at their Worcester office.

This role sits within the Facilities team and is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied position combining reception, administration, and office coordination
. You will act as the first point of contact for visitors and calls
, while also supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office and providing administrative assistance across multiple departments.

As Business Support Receptionist
, you will play a key role in ensuring the office operates efficiently while delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience for visitors, staff, and clients.

Key Responsibilities - Temporary Business Support Receptionist

Office & Administrative Support

  • Process daily post and manage outgoing correspondence and parcels

  • Maintain office supplies such as stationery and kitchen items

  • Organise meeting rooms and office space for internal and external meetings

  • Maintain both physical and digital filing systems across departments

Reception & Coordination

  • Manage incoming switchboard calls and direct enquiries appropriately

  • Welcome visitors and manage visitor sign-in procedures

  • Arrange meeting room bookings, refreshments, and lunches

Training & Event Support

  • Support the coordination of training sessions and webinars

  • Prepare training materials and documentation

  • Arrange meeting rooms, refreshments, and attendee registrations

Systems & Database Administration

  • Maintain and update customer records and databases

  • Process website enquiries and route requests to relevant teams

  • Support the administration of internal systems and documentation

Health & Safety Administration

  • Assist with the coordination of staff training and compliance records

  • Maintain training schedules and documentation to support audits

Travel & Visitor Coordination

  • Assist with corporate travel arrangements including flights, hotels, and transport

  • Coordinate itineraries and logistics for visiting colleagues and stakeholders

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident dealing with people at all levels
.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in a busy administrative, reception, or office support role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organisation and time management abilities

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and office systems

  • A professional and welcoming manner when interacting with visitors and colleagues

  • A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Desirable
  • Experience supporting front-of-house or hospitality arrangements

  • Familiarity with booking systems, databases, or CRM platforms

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Education
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)

  • Further education or degree-level qualification desirable but not essential
