About the Role

We are working with a dynamic and growing accountancy firm based in Worcester that prides itself on its proactive, professional, and personable approach to clients. With a strong referral rate and excellent reputation, the firm is seeking an experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join their team and support their continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships for manager review
Completion of VAT returns and general bookkeeping duties
Preparation of personal and business tax computations
On-site client work including Management Accounts and ad-hoc bookkeeping
Liaising and supporting clients with day-to-day queries
Ensuring compliance with filing deadlines and supporting business processes
Skills and Experience Required

Minimum of 2 years’ practice experience (preferred) qualified or currently studying towards ACCA (QBE considered)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, Quick Books, and Iris Accountancy Suite.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
