Moving & Logistics Team (Field Role, Career Track $20–$30/hr)

Fresh Start – The Moving Crew, Inc. is hiring Project Team Members to support relocation work for businesses, medical facilities, campuses, and high-end residential clients across Central Massachusetts. This is steady, team‑based work—not day labor. We operate with daily job plans, defined roles, the right equipment, and clear leadership, and we promote from within.

Compensation

$20 – $30 hourly.

Responsibilities

Work on a Professional Field Operations Team:

  • Start each day with your crew reviewing the job plan, roles, and equipment needs
  • Work as part of a coordinated field team under a Field Team Leader
  • Stage and prepare work areas to protect the site and keep projects running efficiently
  • Handle furniture, equipment, and materials using professional moving tools and load strategies
  • Load and unload trucks by planned sequence, not guesswork, to support safe transport and fast setups
  • Operate dollies, carts, straps, liftgates, and ramps with proper technique
  • Maintain clean, organized trucks and job sites that are ready for the next assignment
  • Follow jobsite safety standards and work in a way that protects your team and the client’s space
  • Communicate with your crew throughout the project to keep the job moving on schedule
  • Adapt to different environments, including offices, healthcare facilities, campuses, and residential locations
  • Close out each project with a team reset so the next job starts ready
Opportunities to Take on More Responsibility

As You Gain Experience, You’ll Begin Helping With:

  • Crew setup and job flow support
  • Equipment checks and load planning
  • Guiding new team members through standard procedures

These are the first steps toward promotion into Field Team Leader and Commercial Truck Operator roles.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to arrive on time to shop and job sites across Central Massachusetts
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (required for advancement into Commercial Truck Operator roles)
  • Ability to handle physically demanding work throughout a full shift safely and consistently
  • Willingness to follow direction, work from a job plan, and operate as part of a structured field team
  • Strong work ethic and a professional attitude with teammates and clients
  • Dependability—you can count on you to show up prepared and ready
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience in moving, warehouse, construction, logistics, or other hands‑on team environments
  • Experience working under a supervisor or team leader on job sites
  • Interest in advancing into leadership, equipment operation, or DOT driving roles
