Position Overview:

As a Residential Outside Sales Millwork Representative
, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, providing accurate proposals, and ensuring that customers’ needs are met with the highest level of satisfaction. You will focus on residential projects and will work closely with both customers and internal teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Customer Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with new and established customers through regular communication and follow-through on commitments.
• Perform Takeoffs: Conduct material takeoffs from blueprints and field measurements for stairs, millwork, and doors.
• Provide Proposals: Prepare accurate and detailed proposals for customers and ensure payment and follow-up needs are addressed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with operations and other sales staff to ensure seamless service and complete customer satisfaction.
• Fieldwork: Regular travel to job sites, as necessary, to assess and meet customer requirements.

Required

Education and Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in the millwork, doors, windows, or trim industry.
• Prior experience in outside sales, preferably in the residential millwork or construction field.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
• Valid driver’s license.

Skills &

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Experience with takeoffs and estimating for stairs, millwork, and doors.
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to meet deadlines and targets.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
