The Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, driving new business, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves understanding client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate brings solid audio-visual knowledge, strong organizational skills, and genuine curiosity to uncover what clients truly need. They’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities and using their time wisely to achieve their goals.
This is a hybrid role that requires regular on-site meetings at our North Andover office and client locations throughout New England. Candidates should live within commuting distance.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact to ensure client needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Hold regular meetings and maintain consistent communication.
- Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and within existing accounts.
- Present and promote solutions that align with client goals.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas by maintaining a healthy pipeline and closing deals.
- Account Management and Strategy
- Monitor client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Review account performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to add value.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Proposal Development and Negotiation
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that best fit client requirements.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM.
- Use financial and account data to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and client feedback for management.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or commercial AV (preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Solid audio-visual knowledge and a desire to keep learning about industry trends.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Hub Spot experience a plus).
