Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform routine single-plex and multiplex immunohistochemistry (IHC) to support drug discovery programs. The selected candidate will contribute to studies in target validation, target distribution, animal model development, pharmacology, and exploratory safety assessments. This position involves hands‑on work using the Leica Bond Rx platform, with opportunities to gain exposure to multiplexing on the Lumiphores COMET platform.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced research environment and demonstrate strong technical and organizational skills.
- Perform routine single-plex and multiplex IHC using the Leica Bond Rx platform.
- Conduct IHC to support target validation and drug development studies.
- Gain exposure and training in multiplex IHC using the Lumiphores COMET platform.
- Maintain and document sample data using Sample Manager and Dream Path systems.
- Collaborate with study pathologists, scientists, and cross‑functional teams.
- Follow established laboratory protocols and documentation standards.
- Troubleshoot and optimize IHC protocols to ensure high‑quality data.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently and deliver timely, accurate results.
- Adhere to laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures.
- Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, One Note, Word, PowerPoint).
- QIHC (Qualification in Immunohistochemistry) certification preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of the Leica Bond Rx IHC platform.
- – years of experience in a histology or pathology laboratory.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot IHC protocols and interpret results.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Commitment to producing high‑quality scientific results.
- Continuous standing for extended periods (over hours per
