Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel contract requiring both scrub and circulating skills across multiple specialty areas, including transplant, neuro, trauma, and pediatrics, with a MA RN license required.

Job Details

• Hospital operating room setting in Worcester, MA,

• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (9:00-21:30),

• Requires ability to both scrub and circulate across a wide range of specialty areas, including transplant (liver and kidney), endoscopy, vascular and vascular emergencies, neuro, trauma (MVA, gunshot, stabbing), cardiac circulation, general surgery, pediatrics, and microsurgery,

• On-call rotation required: one night every third weekend,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; permanent license preferred, conditional license accepted,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Minimum 2 professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher,

• Scrub experience is required,

• Demonstrated experience scrubbing and circulating across multiple OR specialties,

• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for this position,

Additional Information

• A pass/fail medication exam is administered during in-person orientation with only one attempt allowed - failure results in immediate contract cancellation; study materials will be provided,

• A pass/fail EKG test is also required as part of orientation,

• Candidates with any prior disciplinary history on their nursing license will not be considered,

• First-time travelers should be aware of the strict pass/fail testing requirements at orientation
