Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float position requiring 3 years of ICU experience and a Massachusetts RN license, working nights across all adult ICUs and step-down units.

Job Details

• Float position covering all adult ICU and step-down units within a large academic medical center,

• Patients will not include post cardiac surgery, balloon pump, Impella, transplant, or EVD cases,

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),

• Every other weekend rotation required,

• Holiday rotation required,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required,

• 5 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility preferred,

• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG test,

• 2 professional references required, at least one of which must be from a Nurse Manager or above,

• Nurses with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license are not eligible for this position,

Additional Information

• Candidates must be comfortable floating across all adult ICU environments, including step-down - candidates who are not comfortable with this scope should not apply,

• Any call-outs must be made up before the end of the assignment,

• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates,
