Onboarding Process

Position Summary

This role provides direct clinical patient care. The RN will assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per‑shift basis, and will perform nursing care at unit level. The RN will supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The RN is accountable to support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical patient care to assigned patients on a per‑shift basis.
  • Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for unit level patients.
  • Supervise nursing staff and delegate care appropriately.
  • Advise and advocate for the profession of nursing, serving as a role model.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduated from a state‑approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
  • Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor’s or master’s degree).
Certifications
  • Current license, certification, or registration to practice nursing as required by state law or policy.
  • CPR certification.
