Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in MA requiring telemetry skills and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Night shifts available with options for either 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts starting at 7:00 PM
• Patient population includes acute emergency cases requiring telemetry monitoring
• Uses Epic EMR, with experience preferred
• Shift start time may be flexed by up to four hours based on urgent critical department need
• Staff may need to read telemetry as part of routine patient care
• Role includes responding to a wide range of emergent patient conditions and priorities
• Documentation performed primarily in Epic EMR
• Rare flexibility in shift start only during urgent staffing needs
• Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher

• Active, permanent MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Must demonstrate the ability to read telemetry
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• EKG test must be passed as part of the hiring process
• Candidates must reside at least 200 miles from the facility
