Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with scrub and circulate experience in multiple specialties and a valid MA RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Care for diverse surgical populations including transplant, liver and kidney, endo, vascular, neuro, trauma, general surgery, pediatric, micro, and emergency cases
- Must be able to both circulate and scrub in specified specialties
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (6:45 to 19:15)
- 1 night on-call required every third weekend
- Assist with a range of surgical procedures including high acuity and emergency cases
- Call rotation includes one night every third weekend
- Team supports a broad spectrum of surgical specialties
- First time travelers will be considered
- Active MA RN license required
- Previous scrub and circulate experience in an OR setting required
- Ability to handle complex cases including trauma, vascular emergencies, transplants, and pediatric surgeries
- Successful completion of a pass/fail EKG test required
- Must provide two professional references, one from a Nurse Manager or higher
- Cannot have prior disciplinary actions on nursing license
- Must reside at least 200 miles from the facility
