Director of Nursing; DON

Regal Care at Worcester is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and manage all aspects of the nursing department. The DON is responsible for ensuring high‑quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective clinical operations within the facility.

• Oversee all nursing services and clinical operations
• Supervise, support, and develop nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain quality assurance and performance improvement standards
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor clinical documentation, policies, and procedures
• Participate in hiring, training, and disciplinary actions as needed
• Serve as a clinical leader and resource for staff and families

• Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts
• Previous experience as a DON or nursing leadership role preferred
• Long‑term care or skilled nursing facility experience required
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and clinical best practices
