Position Summary

Regal Care at Worcester is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and hands‑on nursing leader with a strong background in skilled nursing and long‑term care management. This position oversees all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily clinical operations and nursing services throughout the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Manage, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote teamwork and professional growth.
  • Coordinate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of resident care.
  • Monitor infection control, documentation, and resident outcomes.
  • Participate in surveys, audits, and quality improvement activities.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and oversee scheduling.
Qualifications
  • Current RN license in the State of Massachusetts (required).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, including CMS and DPH standards.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate, resident‑centered approach with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
