- Facility: Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

- Start Date: December 30, 2025
- End Date: March 31, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shifts: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2360–$2420
- Patient Population: Neonates and infants (daily census ~40, 49 beds)
- Orientation: 48 hours
- Active Massachusetts RN license (conditional license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Level III or IV NICU nursing jobs
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- EPIC charting experience required
- Infant Driven Feeding Training preferred
- Ability to pass Telemetry exam during orientation (80% passing score)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates and infants in a fast-paced NICU setting
- Administer medications, blood products, and perform advanced procedures (arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management: AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, APGAR scoring, and manage respiratory support (high flow nasal cannula, JET, HFOV)
- Deliver developmental care, breastfeeding support, and family education
- Assist with pre- and post-operative care for neonates with surgical interventions (TEF/EA, gastroschisis, omphalocele, g-tube placement)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory therapy, radiology, social services)
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training modules
