Job DescriptionThe Inventory Planner II is responsible for supporting the efficient flow of materials and products within the organization. This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely material availability, and compliance with company policies. Responsibilities- Monitor and manage inventory levels to support production and customer needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to track and expedite shipments.
- Coordinate and work with internal teams, quality, engineering, operations on material risks and drive issues to resolution.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
- Analyze supply and demand to optimize inventory and reduce excess or obsolete stock.
- Place purchase requisitions in SAP & SRM.
- Perform weekly MRP and project health checks.
- Maintain standardized process files.
- Prepare inventory and supply chain reports for management review.
- Assist with implementing process improvements and best practices in supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to materials and inventory management.
- Support material and supply chain setup activities.
- Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Operations, Supply Chain or Business Management). - 3 years’ work experience in a similar environment (preferred).
- Must be experienced with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Team player with focus on improvement and strong drive for results.
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proven strong problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to step up and take leadership to own challenges.
- Persistent and resilient when confronted with obstacles, and resolves issues in a timely manner.
