Site Service Technician

CBRE Government & Defense is seeking a self-motivated Site Service Technician (SST) to support daily facilities operations across our ambulatory and outpatient care locations. This full-time role provides hands‑on facilities support, light maintenance, receiving, and building services in a healthcare environment. The SST works independently while collaborating closely with Facilities, Operations, and clinical staff to ensure safe, reliable, and well‑maintained care sites.

Primary Job Functions

• Perform routine facilities inspections and light maintenance activities including minor repairs, fixture replacement, wall/door hardware adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support building systems operations including basic HVAC awareness, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and life safety systems.
• Receive, stage, and distribute supplies, equipment, and materials for facilities operations.
• Utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to receive, document, and close work orders.
• Coordinate with and escort vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and functional work areas in compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Provide responsive customer service to clinical, administrative, and operational staff.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and assist Facilities Technicians as required.
• Identify and report facility issues that may impact operations or patient care.

Education, Experience and Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial building services, facilities support, or maintenance preferred.

Working Conditions

• Physical requirements of this role include tooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Working knowledge of building systems and general maintenance practices.
• Experience in healthcare, medical office, or commercial environments strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with computers, email, and work order systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
