Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join a growing team. This role is integral to the organization, offering the opportunity to manage mid-to-large accounts with a book size of $800K in revenue and accounts up to $1M in premium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines insurance, a passion for client service, and a commitment to professional growth.
CompensationPackage
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 (flexible based on experience)
- Incentives:
- 25% commission on new business
- 10% commission on renewal business
- Year-end discretionary bonus
- $5,000 raise upon obtaining designations (cost of classes covered by the company)
- Manage a book of business with $800K in revenue and accounts up to $1M in premium.
- Handle all aspects of account management, including quoting, renewing, and servicing accounts ("soup to nuts").
- Collaborate with an offshore team for administrative support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, including Andover, AIG, Arbella, Chubb, Cincinnati, Hanover, The Hartford, Hagerty, Mapfre, Liberty Mutual, Pure, Plymouth Rock, Philadelphia, Safety, and others.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of renewals and endorsements.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries promptly.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (CL experience required).
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Proven ability to manage mid-to-large accounts with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience with quoting and renewing business (renewal-focused role).
- Familiarity with TAM software (transitioning to AMS
360 in January). - Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to account management.
