QA Engineer (Bioinformatics)

The Judge Group is seeking a detail-oriented, quality-driven QA Engineer (Bioinformatics) to help develop and validate the next generation of scientific informatics applications that accelerate the discovery of novel biotherapeutics.

In this role, you'll partner closely with scientists, engineers, and product teams to rigorously test custom software that powers R&D workflows across biology, chemistry, and bioinformatics.

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for scientific informatics software (tech stack includes Java, JavaScript, Angular
  
  JS, SQL, Oracle, HTML, CSS)
• Review and interpret system requirements and functional specs
• Perform manual and automated testing across:
  • Functional
  • Regression
  • Integration
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Identify, document, and track defects with clarity and precision
• Work side-by-side with developers to triage, reproduce, and resolve issues
• Contribute to the creation of high-quality, well-documented, supportable solutions
• Participate in peer reviews of test plans, solutions, and documentation
• Follow established internal standards for:

  • Quality practices
  • Continuous improvement
