Job SummaryThe role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data management systems that meet organizational requirements. This position also involves developing high‑performance data solutions, ensuring data quality and reliability, and researching innovative approaches to data acquisition and utilization. A strong understanding of industry practices—including data mining, algorithms, and data application methods—is essential.
Primary Responsibilities- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
- Develop high‑performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
- Ensure all systems align with business requirements and industry standards.
- Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing architectures.
- Establish processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
- Create custom software components and analytics applications.
- Research and evaluate new opportunities for leveraging existing data.
- Utilize a range of programming languages and tools to connect and optimize systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including data architects, IT professionals, and data scientists, to achieve project objectives.
- Implement and update disaster recovery procedures.
- Recommend improvements to enhance data reliability, quality, and performance.
- Technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with relational and non‑relational databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, No
SQL, Hadoop, Mongo
DB). - Experience programming or architecting backend systems (e.g., Java, J2EE).
