SUMMARY
The Back-End Web Developer will be responsible for maintaining and developing applications using Cold Fusion and supporting back-end systems across the organization. This role requires experience in Cold Fusion administration, server architecture, application security, and integration of B2B APIs. The developer will work within Web Services and collaborate with the Information Security team to resolve vulnerabilities, maintain system performance, and support legacy systems and modern frameworks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
- 7-10 years of experience in software development required
- 5-7 years of experience with Cold Fusion administration and IIS server configuration required
- Previous experience supporting manufacturing facilities preferred
- Strong knowledge of application security, pen test resolution, and compliance requirements
- Proficient in server architecture and system administration practices
- Experience with certificate management, SSL configuration, and secure API integration
- Familiarity with PHP, xByte, and authentication protocols
- Exposure to modern frameworks like Angular is a plus
- Experience supporting or migrating legacy systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
