Talent Manager, Recruiter, HR / Recruitment Consultant
Pay Range: $60-65,000 Hybrid | Worcester Position Summary
The Junior Recruiter supports full-cycle recruitment efforts for Ascentria’s Community Services and Senior Services divisions. This role plays a key part in attracting, engaging, and onboarding mission-aligned candidates across direct care, clinical, and program-based roles.
This is a developmental role designed for someone who is highly organized, service-oriented, and eager to grow in Talent Acquisition. The Associate Recruiter partners closely with hiring managers, HR, and site leaders to ensure a positive candidate experience while helping to reduce time-to-fill and agency reliance.

Core Responsibilities Recruitment & Sourcing Support- Post job openings across appropriate platforms and monitor applicant flow.
- Conduct resume screening and initial phone interviews.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist with sourcing efforts using job boards, Linked In, referrals, and community outreach.
- Support hiring event logistics (job fairs, open houses, community outreach events).
- Maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Ensure a welcoming, professional, and engaging tone in all communications.
- Track candidate progress in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Provide regular status updates to hiring managers.
- Ensure no candidate goes more than three business days without communication.
- Initiate and track all required background checks in accordance with state and program-specific requirements (CORI, fingerprinting, OIG, etc.).
- Partner with HR and compliance to ensure background requirements are met prior to start date.
- Communicate clearly with candidates regarding required documentation and timelines.
- Escalate any discrepancies or delays promptly to leadership.
- Maintain accurate tracking of clearance status for audit and compliance purposes.
- Track key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, applicant flow, and offer acceptance rates.
- Support weekly reporting for Community and Senior Services divisions.
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance for audit readiness.
- Assist with Talent Acquisition projects as needed, including:
- Referral campaigns
- Workforce planning initiatives
- Process improvements
- Dashboard/reporting enhancements
- Recruitment marketing updates
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to support hiring initiatives.
- Contribute ideas to improve candidate experience and recruiter workflows.
Required:
- 1–2 years of recruiting, administrative, or high-volume customer service experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort learning HR systems and compliance processes.
- Experience in healthcare, human services, or nonprofit settings.
- Familiarity with high-volume hiring (CNA, DSP, Case Manager, LPN, etc.).
- Experience coordinating background checks or compliance documentation.
- Is responsive and accountable.

- Demonstrates strong follow-through and documentation discipline.
- Builds trust with hiring managers and candidates.
- Is comfortable handling compliance-driven processes.
