II. PositionQualifications:
License/Certification/
Education:
Required:
- Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy.
- Must have a valid Massachusetts license in Radiation Therapy.
Preferred:
- Graduate of CAHEA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology Program.
Skills:
Required:
- Minimum of five years of continuous clinical experience in a comparable clinical setting.
- Must have knowledge and experience in:
- Specialty areas such as Simulation, Total Body Irradiation, and Total Skin Irradiation.
- 3-Dimensional, SBRT, SRT, SRS, IMRT, KV AND CBCT imaging and treatments and Quality Assurance programs.
- Computer Management System for Radiation Oncology, i.e., ARIA, Impac, etc.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work cooperatively with all members of the healthcare team.
Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
