We are looking for full and part-time, on-site Direct Support Professionals throughout Massachusetts. The responsibilities include supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives, fostering independence, and promoting personal growth. The professional will assist in implementing individual support plans, facilitate skill-building activities, and ensure the well-being and safety of clients. Additional responsibilities involve maintaining accurate documentation, providing emotional and social support, and participating in training programs to enhance the quality of services offered.
Qualifications- Experience in Human Services and knowledge of working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build supportive relationships.
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Willingness to participate in relevant Training programs to enhance service delivery.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in social services or related fields is a plus.
- Patience, compassion, and a commitment to empowering individuals to achieve their goals.
- Ability to follow support plans and handle responsibilities with reliability and professionalism.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required.
